Quick trip to Rite-Aid on my lunch break… Got a Crest toothpaste and Oral B toothbrush – made $2 a piece on them… Got 2 Softsoap and 2 Irish spring body washes for FREE and the Similasan eye drops for FREE!! That is $24.33 worth of GREAT products that Rite-aid paid me $4 to take out of their store!! Why aren’t you all doing this?? Even if you missed the Crest coupon a few weeks ago and you have only one insert from this Sunday’s paper… you can still clip the soft soap and the irish spring $1 off coupons and use this link for a $1 off similasan.

Things were going so good I had to go to TOPS too… I have some extra FREEBIE coupons and since I love the 8 o’clock coffee deal, I ran in for another go at the $20 super coupon! You know what that is right? Spend $20 and get a killer deal on a select few items – listed on the front flap of the TOPS flyer…
So the meal plan never quite got finished… but we knew we were having chicken on the grill since it was so nice out, and my wonderful husband made enough extra to shred and chop for chicken ON salad (gotta use up all that cheap lettuce) and chicken salad. Going to have that awesome pork, I got yesterday at TOPS , in the crock and there will be plenty of leftovers for pulled pork and pork stirfry… Throw our favorite BOBOLI in there and we’ll get through the week just fine!Going to stay with some BFF’s this weekend so need to make some fun appies and dessert… any suggestions??

I did hit TOPS on my way home and got a few killer deals: Total was $65.77 before savings… I had bonus buys and coupons totaling $40.17… total cost $25.60!! Whoo – Hoo!! AND I am up to $1.20 off in gas points so far… YEAH, shooting for a FREE tank by 2nd week of October – that’s $100 worth of gas you know… did I mention last gas cycle I got TWO free tanks??!!

Happy Friday Everyone! How did you do shopping this week? I killed it with the Rite-aid toilet paper deal and also picked up Jumbo packs of HUGGIES diapers for 2.67 each. Also got a start on Halloween candy, although we live in the middle of nowhere and have never had a trick or treater – hahaha!!
